Justin was heading for the music room, clutching some music papers a CD case. There was a song he desperately wanted to try out. He had heard song before and wanted to see if he could sing it. Justin liked singing and wondered if there was a music group or singing club or something like that. He had been at West Ridge House for a month now and still didn’t have many friends – he tended to keep to himself somewhat but he was learning to open up slowly. Once he was in the music room, he put the papers on a music stand and inserted the CD into the boombox, which was on the table. Once everything was ready, he picked up a random guitar and pressed play. He began to play according to the music and got the introduction over with. He then began to sing. “Where it began, I can't begin to knowing But then I know it's growing strong was in the spring, And spring became the summer Who'd believe you'd come along
Hands, touching hands, reaching out Touching me, touching you Oh, sweet Caroline Good times never seem so good I've been inclined to believe it never would
Oh, sweet Caroline Good times never seem so good I've been inclined to believe it never would oooh oh no no.” The big brawny boy didn’t realise that someone had come in and was watching. He smiled, going red in the face and smiled in greeting.

It was the time in between classes at Westridge so Nerina was wondering though the halls of the school. And as she did her coco brown hair bounced around her shoulders as she walked to her locker. Unlike some student Nerina could just pop back to her room when she liked as she didn't live on campus but in a house not too far from the school with her twin sister Effy and there Mother. And every school day she would drive her little bumble bee which was basically a little yellow mini wit black racing stripes on the bonnet. She adored her little car as she had been bought it when they first move to L.A from Canada after she passed her test. She also used it to take her where ever she went especially to her ice-skating lessons and practices which she been taking since he was six.
As she reached her locker she placed her books in and took out her note book before slipping it into her bag. Then she grabbed her ice-skates which she had placed in her locker the day before as she knew it would be quicker to go straight to the ice-ring from school rather than going home to retrieve her things. But just as she was about to leave to place them in her car she heard a voice singing a particular favourite of hers so she flowed it to one of the music rooms. In there she found a lad she identified as being to boy who had been at the school about a month now. Nerina didn't know much about him but he sure did have a beautiful voice so she quietly entered the room. But then as he turned and saw her he stopped."Oh please don't stop on my account, you have a wonderful voice wish I could sing like that." Nerina said her Canadian accent showing slightly as her ice-skates where hung over her shoulder.

Justin smiled at the girl’s compliment and chuckled. He got up from the stool and put the guitar carefully to one side. He then picked up his stuff and stood a few steps away from Nerina. She was pretty but somehow Justin felt she’d be prettier with short hair. The semi-new kid had seen her around school but hadn’t actually spoken to her and since he didn’t have many friends here, he might as well as befriend her.
“I'm Justin Grant, just started here a month ago,” said Justin, moving his weight from his left leg to right. He had his things in his right hand and so would put them in his left if she wanted to shake his hand.
